Rice Lake – Funeral services were held Jan 28 at the Hyllengren Funeral Home for John Rule, 84 of this city who died at a local hospital on Jan 25 of a heart attack. The Rev. Arvid E. Morey, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiated and burial was in the Nora Cemetery. A farmer, Mr. Rule was born in Cloverdale, Ind and came to Wisconsin in 1929. He belonged to the Christian Church. Surviving are four sons: Kenner of Marshalltown, Ia; Paul of Waterloo, Ia; William C of LeGrand Ia; Sgt. Robert Rule, stationed in Anchorage, Alaska and a daughter, Mrs. Cordelia Harbeson of Waveland, Ind. – kbz
